Five more people test +ve for Zika in Pune, case count surges to 11

Pune confirmed five new Zika cases, including three pregnant women, totalling 11 since June 20. Dr Rajesh Dighe said samples follow national guidelines; confirmed by NIV. Dr Varshali Mali noted risks including microcephaly, preterm birth, and miscarriage. Mundhwa patient is within 100-metre of another Zika case. A first trimester woman is focal, though asymptomatic.
