Case against doctor after woman dies during illegal abortion

In Pune, a doctor from Navi Mumbai allegedly performed an illegal abortion on a 25-year-old woman, resulting in her death. Her body and two children were disposed of in the Indrayani river. Arrests have yet to be made. The woman, separated from her husband, had been in a relationship with the main accused. Investigation continues.
