MD drug haul now up to 1,100kg worth Rs 2,200cr

The Pune police conducted raids at a pharmaceutical plant in Kurkumbh and a godown in New Delhi, seizing 1,100kg of mephedrone worth Rs2,200 crore. Five people were arrested. The synthetic drug was found in crystal form. The police are investigating the involvement of foreign nationals and persons of Indian origin abroad.
