Ajit's 'isolated in clan' remark to get voter sympathy: Sharad

Sharad Pawar on Saturday slammed his nephew Ajit Pawar for his comment that his (Ajit's) family would be isolated in Pawar clan, and said the political environment in Baramati had never been so vicious earlier. On the possibility of Sunetra Pawar contesting against Supriya, he said "in a democracy, anyone can contest elections... We should be able to explain our stand before the voters."
