Six women dead, 10 injured in sparkling candle unit fire

Six women died in a fire caused by an explosion at an illegal sparkling candle manufacturing unit in Talawade industrial area. The injured victims were taken to Yashwantrao Chavan Memorial Hospital and then shifted to Sassoon hospital. CM Eknath Shinde announced compensation for the deceased's families and the government will cover the expenses of the injured. A high-level inquiry will be conducted to punish those responsible for the incident.
