Pawar was for joining govt, changed stance later: Ajit

Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar revealed that he had consulted with NCP chief Sharad Pawar before joining the ruling alliance of BJP-Shiv Sena, and that Pawar was initially in favor of the decision. However, Pawar later changed his stance. Ajit Pawar also mentioned that the senior Pawar had voluntarily resigned as the chief of the party, but asked party leaders to stage a protest for the withdrawal of his resignation. Ajit Pawar further explained that he had spoken to Supriya Sule about joining the ruling alliance and requested her to convince her father, but received no response.
