Only 18% RERA recovery warrant orders executed

Only 204 recovery warrant complaints out of a total 1,123 have been executed by district collectorates in Maharashtra over the last six years, according to MahaRERA. The recovery warrant orders are issued against errant developers under the Real Estate Act. MahaRERA has appointed an additional collector to monitor the execution process and is conducting weekly meetings. This move has come as a relief for homebuyers who have been waiting for the execution of recovery warrant orders for years.
