HC sets up panel to suggest plan for Ganeshkhind Road alignment

The Bombay high court has appointed a committee of experts to study and recommend the best plan to save trees while executing the road widening and Metro Rail project work along Ganeshkhind Road. No tree felling shall take place until the next court date. The committee will include officers from PMC, PMRDA, and representatives of the petitioners. They will explore the feasibility of altering the road alignment or design to save trees. The committee has been given two months to complete its task and submit a report to the court.
