Gang robs 5 train passengers through windows near Daund

Passengers on the Pune-Nanded Express were robbed when a gang of robbers rained stones on the train, unable to gain access through locked doors. The incident took place near Daund Junction when the train stopped for line clearance. The robbers snatched a wallet and valuables worth Rs1.81 lakh from passengers sitting near windows. An elderly passenger sustained a minor injury from the stone pelting. The police have registered a complaint and are working on clues to arrest the robbers.
