Delhi-Pune Air India flight cancelled due to crew shortage, flyers stunned

A Delhi-Pune flight by Air India was cancelled due to unavailability of adequate cabin crew, leaving more than 100 passengers stranded. The cancellation of the flight caused distress to passengers, including those with urgent travel needs. Passengers were informed that the pilots had arrived, but the boarding never started. The airline officials suggested initiating a refund or waiting for the next available flight, which would only be after January 1. One passenger had to pay Rs5000 for a hotel stay and will now fly to Pune on Saturday with another airline.
