5 booked for using same bogus power bill to enrol over 1,000 people as voters

The Paud police have booked five people from Pirangut and Mukaiwadi for attempting to enrol over 1,000 people as voters in the Bhor assembly constituency using bogus electricity bills. The suspects were identified based on computer and user IDs used to upload the enrolment forms. The Mulshi tehsil office has been contacted for more details. Preliminary investigations suggest that the people the suspects attempted to enrol are from different parts of Pune district, other districts in Maharashtra, and even other states.
