Visitors to Tiger's Point at 1am face police action

A surprise police check at Tiger's Point in Lonavla found several visitors and stalls operating past permissible hours. Four stalls and 14 tourists, who were playing loud music and drinking alcohol, were penalized. Despite authorities banning such behavior, many tourist points in Lonavla witness large crowds and late-night parties. Local police frequently conduct surprise visits to enforce the rules due to safety concerns, as the area is forest land with a deep valley. The forest department has installed a gate near Lion's Point, but tourists easily bypass it.
