Two farmers die after falling into 275ft tunnel in Indapur

Two farmers, Ratilal Narute and Anil Narute, died after falling into a 275ft-deep tunnel of the Krishna-Bhima Stabilisation project near Kazad village in Indapur tehsil. The accident occurred when they were trying to lower a water pump into the tunnel for their farm. The tunnel is used by locals to draw water for their farms. The incident was discovered when their relatives found their belongings near the tunnel entrance and sent an empty platform inside. The bodies were recovered after a rescue operation.
