Over 80 on board Bharat Gaurav suffer 'food poisoning', treated at Pune stn

Over 80 passengers on a Bharat Gaurav special train from Chennai to Gujarat, booked by Chandraprabhu Naya Mandir Trust, were provided with emergency medical care at the Pune railway station. The passengers complained of stomach pain, nausea, and diarrhea. A team of doctors from the railway hospital and Ruby Hall Clinic attended to the passengers. Investigations revealed that the passengers used the pantry car to prepare food. The patients were treated with medication and none required hospital care. The train continued its journey to Palitana.
