
Areas across the Deccan plateau, including Pune and Jalgaon, experienced a sudden drop in temperatures, with some places even colder than North Indian regions and hill stations. In Pune, the minimum temperature was 13.9°C, while in Jalgaon it dropped to 10.9°C. Mahabaleshwar, a popular hill station, recorded a low of 15.6°C. Meanwhile, North Indian regions like Dharamshala and Shimla also saw cooler temperatures than usual. Dharamshala recorded a minimum temperature of 13.4°C, while Shimla saw 12.6°C.
