Record of land rights now available in 22 languages

The Maharashtra government has developed a transliteration software to help citizens from outside the state read and understand land records in 22 regional languages. The software, available on the land department's website, translates details from the record of rights (RoR) into the user's chosen language. This initiative aims to overcome the linguistic barrier faced by citizens when buying or selling land in Maharashtra. The project is part of a larger effort by the government to improve accessibility and transparency in land records.
