Five projects in MMR deregistered by MahaRERA

MahaRERA has deregistered seven projects in Maharashtra, including one in Pune and three in Mumbai, due to financial problems and poor response. Reasons for deregistration can include lack of funds, disputes, changes in government notifications, and lack of economic viability. The applications for deregistration are currently under scrutiny. MahaRERA has instructed developers not to advertise or sell apartments in the deregistered projects. Consumer bodies are calling for transparency in the deregistration process and for developers to be prevented from redeveloping the projects in a different form.
