City hospital doc among 2 dead as bus rams truck near Daund; 30 injured

A doctor and a woman died, while 30 others were injured when a sleeper coach bus rammed a truck on the Pune-Solapur highway. The truck, laden with cement, did not have any reflector, making it difficult for the bus driver to spot it in the dark. The bus had started from Latur to Pune with 35 passengers, most of whom were asleep at the time of the accident. Cases of rash and negligent driving have been registered against the drivers of the bus and the truck.
