10th cop suspended over drug kingpin's escape from hospital

A woman assistant police inspector has been suspended for dereliction of duty in the case of drug kingpin Lalit Patil's escape from a hospital. The Pune police are now seeking details of properties owned by Patil and his aides. The suspended officer was found to be missing during duty hours and was unable to provide a logical explanation for her absence. In addition, the police custody remand of a co-accused in the case has been extended.
