Visarjan procession lasts over 30 hours amid splash of art, culture & sharp rain

The Ganapati visarjan procession in Pune lasted for 30 hours and 25 minutes, with a massive crowd showing enthusiasm despite intermittent rain. The procession started earlier this year and adhered to the scheduled timing. Many mandals did not stick to the time limit for halting at certain junctions due to devotees blocking the carriageway. The procession remained peaceful with thousands of public and residential mandals participating. Despite heavy rainfall causing waterlogging, the procession continued with displays of martial arts and cultural performances. Several mandals also incorporated digital aspects such as QR codes for donations.
