Pune: Cops launch digital road map for easy commute

The Pune city police have released a video showing traffic diversions and closed paths during the Ganeshotsav festival. The video, available on the police's Twitter handle, demonstrates possible road closures and alternative routes. The video also highlights the locations of help desks for visitors. The police have set up fifteen watch towers to monitor criminal activities, and security measures have been enhanced. The proposed traffic diversions will take place in areas with increased footfall. Pedestrians and vehicles will have designated routes to follow. A separate link with a QR code will be introduced for motorists to navigate the city.
