Pune sculptor's fast-dissolving mixture sans chemical for idols earns him patent

City sculptor Abhijit Dhondphale's mixture of alluvial soil, clay and soft rice bran to make idols that dissolve quickly without releasing harmful chemicals into the water has earned him a patent from the Government of India.
