Maha drought-prone villages' forum wants public boards in Kannada

Pani Sangharsh Samiti, a forum of 65 villages in the drought-prone Jat tehsil of Maharashtra's Sangli district bordering Karnataka, has urged villagers to change writings on public display boards from Marathi to Kannada in protest against water scarcity and also participate in the 'Dandavat Andolan' at Umadi along the boundary of the two states on Friday.
