‘Sharad Pawar may break silence on revolt after ECI’s verdict’

Soon after his revolt in July when rebel leader Ajit Pawar had asked when his uncle would retire, NCP chief Sharad Pawar had hit back, saying he was “neither tired nor retired”. The veteran leader had also taken on the rebel faction by addressing a rally in Chhagan Bhujbal’s constituency Yeola. Since then, though, Sharad Pawar has maintained a studied silence even after public overtures made by the Ajit Pawar group.
