Rain in Kolhapur snaps highway links to Konkan, Goa

The flood-like situation in Kolhapur district, where 83 barrages are currently submerged, necessitated the closure of roads to Konkan and Goa via Gagan Bawda, Anuskura and Amba ghat stretches. At present, only the Phonda, Amboli and Chorla (Belagavi) ghat sections are open for the traffic towards Goa from Kolhapur.
