IITM research indicates 4.5°C day & 5°C night temperature surge by century-end

A new Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology (IITM) study based on the impact of high emission scenarios has found that India's northern parts are projected to experience an increase of around 4.5°C in day temperatures during summer (March to June) by the end of the 21st century and a rise of 5°C in night-time temperatures during winter.
