Cabinet clears 40% tax discount for self-occupied properties in Pune Municipal Corporation limits

The state cabinet on Wednesday approved a proposal that offers 40% discount in property tax to owners of self-occupied properties in the city. Pune Municipal Corporation is likely to lose at least Rs 400 crore of the target revenue from this source, but the decision is a relief for property owners.
