Fadnavis assures adequate funds for Nashik Kumbh

The Nashik Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said that adequate funds will be made available to the Nashik Municipal Corporation (NMC) for the Kumbh Mela that will take place in the city during 2026-2028. The meeting was chaired by Devendra Fadnavis and included Nashik Guardian Minister Dada Bhuse, Nashik District Collector Chandrakant Pulkundwar, Zilla Parishad CEO Ashima Mittal, and other authorities. The NMC has already acquired 54 acres of land for the Kumbh Mela, and plans to widen and construct ring roads in concrete for durable and maintenance of free roads. The city has three ring roads measuring 75 kilometers. The NMC plans to execute the same through the central and state government funds.
