'Moderate' air for Pune this Diwali

An Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology (IITM)-SAFAR Diwali pollution forecast on Saturday stated that the city's air quality index (AQI) may at the most plunge to the "moderate" level this Diwali period, even if firecracker emissions are double than last year's. However, the citizens of Delhi, Mumbai and Ahmedabad may not get such a relief, the forecast indicated.
