2.8 magnitude quake reported near Koyna dam

The residents of Koynanagar in Patan tehsil of Satara district woke up on Friday morning to a mild earthquake.An earthquake measuring 2.8 on Richter Scale was reported near Koyna dam. The epicenter of the earthquake was Helwak village, around 10 kilometres from the dam.
