MIDC to clear 630 industry proposals over 500 acres

The Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) is set to clear 630 proposals for industries spread over 500 acres in the state by October 10. The MIDC's move comes in the wake of Vendanta-Foxconn shifting its multi-billion dollar project from Maharashtra to Gujarat, reports Nisha Nambiar.
