As a 7th grader in Nagpur, Mithilesh Vazalwar would look for excuses to walk the corridor outside the school’s staffroom. “It was the smell of coffee that pulled me there,” he says. “At that time I couldn’t have thought of coffee as a career, but maybe a bean had germinated in my mind.”
