66% of kharif crop sowing completed in Pune: Officials

Sowing of kharif crops on almost 66% of the average 1.95 lakh hectares of cultivable land across Pune district has been completed following good rainfall over the last two weeks.This includes paddy, jowar, bajra, pulses like tur and moong, groundnut, sunflower, soybean and maize, among others.
