Maha's Omicron tally hits single-day high of 85

The state recorded 85 cases of the Omicron variant of Covid-19 virus on Wednesday, it's highest single-day tally so far. Of these, 11 were recorded in the Pune district, taking its tally to 54 so far. A total of 99 people have been discharged so far after testing negative for the virus on RT-PCR test.
