Maha ramps up genomic sequencing of at-risk travellers

The state health department has geared up to track and test travellers arriving in Maharashtra from at-risk countries in the last two weeks and thereafter to contain the spread of a new Botswana variant Omicron (B.1.1.529), the virus’ most mutated version yet.
