Heavy rain alert in parts of Maharashtra today

After a brief lull, rainfall activity has picked up in the state, with the India Meteorological Department issuing a heavy rain alert at isolated places in Konkan, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada and Vidarbha till Wednesday.
