50% drop in elective surgeries across Pune hosps

The city hospitals have recorded a 50% drop in non-emergency elective surgeries after a fresh spike in Covid cases in March and experts fear large-scale disruption in medical services, including routine immunisations, and maternal and child health services, if there is another round of lockdown.
