Pune: Covid death rate dips below state average

The Covid-19 death rate in areas coming under the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) limits has dropped to 3.93% from the 5.6% it was registering in April. This is for the first time since the outbreak that the death rate in the Pune municipal limits has fallen below than the state’s average of 4.72%. But it’s still above the national average of 3.13%.
