6k enter trial to test recombinant BCG vaccine

Some 6,000 “high-risk” individuals, including frontline healthcare workers and close contacts of infected patients, will undergo tests to determine if a recombinant Bacille Calmette-Guerian (BCG) vaccine can boost human immunity against Covid-19.
