Budget: PMC proposes hike in property tax

Shekhar Gaikwad who recently took charge as municipal commissioner proposed 12% hike in the property tax in draft civic budget for 2020-2021, which was presented before the standing committee of PMC on Monday. Gaikwad tabled budget of Rs. 6229 crore which was Rs. 144 crore more than last year's budget of Rs. 6085 crore.
