Elgar Parishad case: Cops to seek FBI help

The Union ministry of home affairs on Monday gave its consent to the proposal of the police to send the broken hard disk to the FBI for investigation. The ministry’s clearance came barely days after the Nationalist Congress Party president, Sharad Pawar, sought formation of a special investigation team for an independent inquiry into the cases filed against the human rights activists in connection with the Elgar Parishad case.
