NGT orders inspection over plan to cut 250 trees in Pune

The National Green Tribunal (NGT) has directed the Tree Authority and the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) to conduct a joint inspection and submit their report on a plan to cut 250 century-old trees on the stretch between Cummins College and Mahalaxmi Lawns in Karvenagar for a road-widening project.
