Pune science student clears tougher JEE Main, fails in HSC; 1,400 apply for recheck

A standard XII student from the city has swung between ecstasy and agony in the space of a few weeks over two exam results. On May 14, he had cleared the Joint Entrance Exam (Main) for the central engineering institutes but he failed in two subjects in the HSC results that were declared on Tuesday.
