Referral cases raise swine flu death count in Maharashtra

As many as 717 patients have succumbed to swine flu at various hospitals in Pune city ever since the virus first struck in 2009. The latest analysis of swine flu casualties in the city has revealed that 57% of these patients who succumbed to the virus-induced complications were not locals.
